The tour bus, with the license plate 34 FZV 926, driven by R.K., veered off the road and overturned on the concrete road of Camkonak Street in the Masukiye neighborhood. While there were no injuries, the passengers were trapped inside the bus as the doors would not open. Upon receiving the report, gendarmerie, fire brigade, medical, AFAD, and UMKE teams were dispatched to the accident site.

As a precaution, the fire brigade secured the bus with ropes. The driver and 42 passengers were rescued through windows and the bed compartment in the luggage area. Some passengers, who became distressed, were treated in ambulances. It was learned that the tour bus had arrived from Istanbul. Traffic, which was briefly controlled in the area, returned to normal after the bus was towed away by a crane.
