The accident took place at the Muallimköy junction on the D-100 Highway towards Istanbul. According to the information obtained, the worker minibus with the license plate 41 P 34 01, driven by İ.Ö., rear-ended the Tofaş brand car with the license plate 25 KC 235, driven by A.A. In the accident, the driver of the car, A.A., and five others, including two children, were injured. Upon notification to the 112 Emergency Call Center, fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After the initial intervention by the medical teams at the scene, the injured were transported to various hospitals in Gebze. The D-100 Highway towards Istanbul was closed to traffic for one hour due to the accident. After the vehicles involved in the accident were removed by tow trucks, the traffic returned to normal. An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
