A fire erupted at a steel construction manufacturing facility in the Kartepe district of Kocaeli. The blaze was extinguished with the intervention of firefighting teams. According to reports, the fire broke out for unknown reasons at around 18:30 local time at a workplace on Kahraman Street in the Istasyon neighborhood, where steel construction manufacturing was underway. Staff at the facility attempted to control the fire and promptly notified the emergency services via the 112 hotline. Firefighters and police were dispatched to the scene in response to the call. The fire was successfully extinguished through the efforts of the firefighting teams, followed by operations to cool down the area and ventilate the premises from smoke.

Although there were no reported injuries, the incident resulted in material damage to the business establishment. Police have initiated an investigation into the cause of the fire.
