Traffic Disrupted After Accident Injures 4 at İzmit Pass, Gendarmerie Launches Investigation
Four injured in accident at İzmit Pass, causing temporary traffic disruption. Gendarmerie launches investigation.
The accident occurred around 10:00 PM at the Şirintepe section on the Istanbul-bound route. The collision involved a vehicle with license plate 34 EDY 168, driven by E.Y., and another vehicle with license plate 34 TJ 709, driven by H.S. Four individuals, identified as H.S., N.S., M.E.S., and E.Y., were injured in the crash and transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Two additional accidents occurred in the same area, but no injuries were reported in these incidents. Gendarmerie teams promptly intervened at the scenes. The traffic on the Istanbul-bound highway experienced temporary disruption.
The gendarmerie has launched an investigation into the accident.
